Remember to check you have everything downloaded and printed off in plenty of time. If you are using links to videos etc please be sure to double check you can access them.

Share a Pencil Day Lesson Plan
Highlighting the 4 main reasons children still cannot go to school. Examples of 4 children for them to read about and answer a few questions. A short film introducing the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and where education sits within that can be used as an introduction.

Additional Activities
For those wishing to focus on different topics or go into more depth we old year groups we have provided a number of additional activities. These can be done in class as sharing tasks or set as homework for individual pupils to undertake alone.

Pencil posters templates
For the younger age groups a wonderful activity is the Pencil Poster titled ” I love school because…” This is designed to encourage children to think about and remember what school means to them beyond the day to day lessons and why school is so important
